About:
What are dAUD and dNZD?
Each is a blockchain-based digital representation of AUD or NZD, issued by NewMoney under a New Zealand bare trust structure.
Being 100% reserve-backed, every token represents a direct and redeemable beneficial interest in cash held in registered bank.
The stablecoins are not financial products and are redeemable only by verified wholesale counterparties.
To begin with, we are using the Ethereum, Base, and Solana networks.
What is NewMoney?
We are a New Zealand-founded fintech building stable, transparent digital cash for Kiwis and Aussies.
Founded by a team with experience across regulated exchanges, payments, and digital asset custody.
Our first two stablecoins, dAUD (Australian Dollar) and dNZD (New Zealand Dollar), are fully backed 1:1 by fiat reserves held in trust in New Zealand.
Australasia has seen stablecoin experiments before, but none have achieved meaningful adoption or usability.
We’re here to change that by building the most trusted, transparent, integrated and practical digital dollar for everyday use.
